Vendor Registration Guidelines

Winter Wonderland strives to offer a diverse variety of handcrafted items, locally sourced products, and food vendors to create a unique and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Food Vendor 

$275-$325 registration fee

 Must upload food handler’s license.

Food Vendor Rules & Regulations

•  Vendors will receive one 10’ x 10’ fire-retardant tent and business/menu signage.
• Vendors must provide their own tables and keep all equipment, cooking, food preparation, and serving within their assigned booth.
• Feather flags and handwritten signage are prohibited.
• Vendors must submit a current food handler certificate/license, as applicable, and display required documentation during the event.
• Gloves and hair coverings must be worn when handling, preparing, and serving food. Jewelry is prohibited as required by applicable food safety regulations.
• Vendors must provide a 100-foot, commercial-grade, three-prong, 12-gauge extension cord. Spliced or damaged wires and splitters are prohibited. Surge protectors are limited to two plug-in connections.
• Vendors must provide their own grease pan and a proper hand-washing station. Vendors without a hand-washing station during inspection will be removed without a refund.
• All vendors must have a current 20-pound ABC fire extinguisher. Vendors frying food must also have a current Class K fire extinguisher.
• Final food sales must end 30 minutes before the event closes to comply with City evacuation requirements.
• Failure to comply with event rules may result in removal and disqualification from future events. No refunds will be issued for noncompliance.
• No refunds for vendors unable to attend without prior approval from the Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce.

• WASH HANDS FREQUENTLY AND THOROUGHLY.
• AVOID WEARING JEWELRY WHILE HANDLING FOOD.
• KEEP FINGERNAILS SHORT AND CLEAN.
• COVER ALL CUTS AND OPEN WOUNDS WITH APPROPRIATE WATERPROOF BANDAGES.
• WEAR CLEAN CLOTHING.
• KEEP HAIR RESTRAINED WITH A HAIRNET, CAP, OR APPROPRIATE COVERING.

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR BOOTH, EQUIPMENT, AND FOOD PREPARATION AREA 

ARE READY FOR INSPECTION BEFORE BEGINNING OPERATIONS. FAILURE TO 

COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS MAY RESULT IN 

CORRECTIVE ACTION OR SUSPENSION OF VENDOR OPERATIONS. 

FOOD VENDOR HEALTH & FIRE SAFETY REMINDERS

THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL CONDUCT INSPECTIONS ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT. ALL VENDORS MUST BE PREPARED AND COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.

FIRE SAFETY

ALL FOOD VENDORS MUST FOLLOW PROPER FOOD HANDLING, PERSONAL HYGIENE, AND FIRE SAFETY PRACTICES THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.

HEALTH & FIRE INSPECTIONS

ALL VENDORS WHO COOK MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED ITEMS ON-SITE AND READILY ACCESSIBLE THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.

Submitting your vendor registration does not guarantee acceptance for Winter Wonderland. All applications will be reviewed and approved individually by the Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce. Vendors approved will receive an email that includes Approval confirmation.

Market Vendor Rules & Regulations

•  Market vendors will be provided with a 10’ x 10’ tent, Signage with Business Name, (1) 8’ table and (2) folding chairs, you may bring extra tables if they are under your tent. Vendors are to stay within their booth area.
• No feather flags will be permitted.
• No handwritten signage will be allowed. If seen with handwritten signage, vendor will be asked to remove signage from vendor booth.
• Shelving is allowed and must be properly secured to the ground, and a picture is sent to GPCC for approval prior to the event.
• Vendors are not to use their personal generators. City will not be providing electricity for Market Vendors.
• No refrigerators are allowed in Market Vendor area.
• We do not permit the sale of firearms, knives, laser pointers, lighters, tasers and cigars.
• Vendors can only sell what was registered for upon registration and approved.
• There will be a limit of similar items sold.
• Alcohol sales are not permitted by market vendors.
• Vendors are not to leave early before the event is over. Unless reason is given to GPCC and approved.
• All final sales must be completed 15 minutes before the end of the event due to city community evacuation regulations.
• Vendors who do not comply with the terms will be informed to leave and may not be able to participate in future markets or events. NO REFUNDS.
• NO REFUNDS for vendors unable to attend without prior approval from the Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce.
